Steven Cusumano – Managing Director of Business Development

Steve Cusumano brings a wealth of experience and a dynamic approach to his role as Managing Director of Business Development at KLG Business Valuators & Forensic Accountants, LLC.  With a career spanning nearly two decades, Steve has honed his expertise in corporate strategy, international business development, forensic accounting, and data analytics.

Steve began his career at KLG as a forensic accountant in 2005, where he developed a strong foundation in business valuation and litigation support.  His analytical skills and attention to detail quickly set him apart, leading to significant contributions in managing complex cases and developing new business relationships.  After eight years at KLG, Steve pursued new challenges, including a pivotal role at Shearman & Sterling, LLP, where he excelled in financial planning and analysis, providing key insights to senior management.

Most recently, Steve served as Director of International Student Recruitment & Strategic Initiatives at St. George’s University School of Medicine.  In this role, he led the international recruitment team to achieve remarkable growth, developed innovative enrollment strategies, and forged key partnerships across the globe.  His strategic visions and leadership were instrumental in expanding the university’s international presence and optimizing processes.

Steve’s return to KLG marks a full-circle moment in his career.  His diverse experience, combined with his strategic mindset and passion for continuous improvement, make him an invaluable asset to the firm.  At KLG, Steve is dedicated to driving business growth, fostering client relationships, and leveraging his extensive background to deliver exceptional value to clients.
